Austria's renowned warm, Pannonian climate combined with cool winds from the Danube river represent the ideal conditions for these grapes to ripen all while keeping their fresh cherry aromas and juicy palate.
Grown on red gravel and loess soils, this Grüner Veltliner benefits from cool winds of the nearby River Danube. The aromatic intensity and typical peppery notes, preserved by fermentation in stainless steel tanks, go hand in hand with refreshing acidity.
Hand harvested, spontaneous fermentation, stainless steel & neutral oak, unfined and unfiltered with a small addition of sulphites.
The Netzl family has lived and farmed in the very same village since 1650 and Christina knew she wanted to be a winemaker already at the tender age of five having helped in the vineyards almost since birth!
Inspired by the quality of the natural wines she discovered while living in London, Christina decided to turn the whole property organic in 2013 and started her own range of natural wines two years later.
