TASTING NOTES

A zesty, lemon-filled with with lots of salty ocean notes. Crisp and chalky, the finish is very drying/lip puckering. 

From vineyards up to 1,400m elevation!!! Mainly sandy, volcanic soils with some calcareous loams. This spent a quick, 2 months on lees in INOX tanks to focus on the freshness. 

Tsiakkas Winery was founded just outside Pelendri village as a modest startup by a newlywed couple. Their first year yielded just 500 bottles of red wine, titled Thyrsos.

Now, over 18 hectares of private and partner vineyards – a second generation of winemakers is now beginning to guide the winery.
