Super complex, lots of chinotto notes along with camphor, lemongrass, bitter orange, camellia, chicory, fennel, green olives and lemons. A little sandalwood, cloves and butterscotch on the back end.

The botanicals for this special Amaro come from the world-renowned eighteenth-century Real English Garden of the Royal Palace of Caserta (created in 1786 at the behest of Maria Carolina of Austria, wife of Ferdinand IV of Bourbon).
AmaRe’ was created in 1858 by Don Domenico Petrone, the founder of the Petrone Distillery, for the Royal House of the Bourbon monarchs who resided in the sumptuous palace at Caserta.
