TASTING NOTES
Classic - with wet wool, dried lemon peel, white peach, quince and slightly bruised apples. The texture of the wine is incredible, a full body with a lot of weight on the palate - but low alcohol! The wine has taut acidity providing tension to the broad mouthfeel and a saline finish. Decant.

Under the radar producer in the premium Loire Valley appellation of Savennières - this powerful Chenin overdelivers. Loïc draws a lot of inspiration (and mentorship) from infamous biodynamic producer Nicolas Joly...this is a must buy.
Grown on yellow sandstone and slate soils, the grapes are slowly direct pressed, almost without re-draining, and a settled on the drained juices. The must is put directly into small tanks where the fermentations take place naturally during more than 20 months, without exogenous yeasts nor any oenological products except a little volcanic sulfur. From a 0,7ha (1,73 acres) south facing plot with 50-100m elevation & schists soils.
