TASTING NOTES

Complex, earthy and dry, but at the same time vibrant and energetic, with a long and almost mystifying finish. Old hay, cheese curds, warm lemon and baked bread crust, followed by an array of hard-to-pin-down complexities.

In 2023, Indie Alehouse’s Elemental Magic was named best Lambic style beer at the World Beer Awards.

So we bought a bunch of bottles and rested them in the cellar, where they could recover from all the hype.

Brewed in 2018 and open-fermented at West Avenue’s cidery, this Wild Ale is spectacularly complex.
