Fukure Mikan is a wild variety of Dai Dai (a type of Mandarin Orange, originally from the Himalayas), with nearly 1500 years of history in Japan, and only cultivated in Tsukuba Mountain near the brewery.
Fuku is a symbol of happiness, Kure means 'coming’ and Mikan is orange. So Fukure Mikan means "orange which will bring forth happiness!"'
