Eric Rodez - Grands Vintages, Ambonnay, Grand Cru Champagne
TASTING NOTES
Liquid bread with frangipane. A rich bouquet of yellow orchard fruit, peach, honeycomb, warm brioche, with a touch of oak nuances. Full and broad on the palate with ripe but tangy fruit, with brisk acidity with a long, lingering finish. Powerful and savoury yet very integrated and elegant.

The Rodez family has been making wine since 1757. The estate is located in the village of Ambonnay and they have 6 hectares. Rodez uses practices taken with him from former oenology work with Krug.
