TASTING NOTES
Highly perfumed nose of violets, cherry and blueberries. It has flesh and volume and lovely acidity. Just a pretty, precise and more-ish pinot.

Harvested September 10-14, 2017. Yield of 50hL/ha. Manual picking and sorting in the field and then a second sorting on arrival at the winery. 100% destemmed. Cold maceration for five to seven days depending on the vintage. Total maceration time, 15 to 21 days. One pump over and push down each day then decantation 48 hours before barreling. 12 months in barrel, 15-20% new and the remainder up to 4th use.
Passed down from generations, winemaker and artist Jean-Michel, wife Christine and sister Chantal have been running the domaine since the early 90’s. Owning nearly 15 hectares of vineyards of which 7 are in the Hautes-Côtes-de-Beaune, their important holdings also include Savigny Les Beaune, 1er Cru’s Les Vergelesses and Les Peuillets and Beaune 1er Crus Avaux, Toussaints and Cent Vignes.
This impressive family are fashioning wines of great character that are truly delicious. Fruit forward and expressive at an early age with remarkable aging potential.
