TASTING NOTES

A big wine, lots of dense, dark and spicy fruit, but with a lovely fresh, herbal and savoury lift. Delicious - a generous, smooth wine - Cali lovers take note.

Old vines of between 35 and 65 years planted in poor soil, hard and with a lot of clay or sandy stone. Vineyards (in organic conversion) are located in the villages of Marçà, Capçanes, El Masroig, Els Guiamets, La Serra d’Almos, Darmòs, Siurana and Cornudella de Montsant between 300 to 700 meters elevation.

Aged for 10-11 months in fine-grained and very lightly toasted French oak barrels.
