Le Piane - Maggiorina, Boca, Piedmont, Italy (2022)

TASTING NOTES

With a field blend of Nebbiolo (40%), Croatina (40%), Vespolina (5%)  and other local varieties including whites, like Erbaluce and Malvasia di Boca - the wine has a mineral and spicy taste with a range of fresh red fruits. 

So there's a lot of history to talk about with Boca. Come in to bossanova for a chat. This would be on our dinner table every night of the week (if there weren't so many other delicious wines and beers in store). 

Maggiorina refers to the traditional vine training system that local-born architect, Alessandro Antonelli (who built the incomparable Mole Antonelliana in Turin) helped improved it to be more resistant to wind and weather.
