TASTING NOTES
Full and fleshy, but with a real snappy acidity to keep things fresh and elegant. Ripe white fruit, citrus, sweet spices, white flowers, fennel and balsamic. Fresh but unctuous, with a slightly bitter toastiness and persistent finish.

Hailing from the Cigales DO in the Castilla y León region of Spain, this beautiful wine is fermented in stainless steel, with native yeasts, aged in Bordeaux American oak barrels for 5 months, and 6 months in bottle.
Cigales is a little known DO just to the west of Ribera del Duero in the Castilla y Leon region of Spain. At 750m above sea level, Traslanzas wines are made by two women, Ana Martín and Maria Pinacho using grapes from Maria’s family vineyards in Mucientes, close to the region’s capital city Valladolid.
