TASTING NOTES
A complex bouquet of lemon balm, ginger, pear and white peach with a hint petrol, like a fine aged riesling. Lovely acidity and minerality on the palate with richness and a long and pleasurable finish - think Alsace Pinot Gris with Italian seasoning.

Azienda Agricola Roeno, founded by Rolando Fugatti over half a century ago. Nestled on the border between Veneto and Trentino, in the land known as “Terra dei Forti”, the winery is surrounded by mountain slopes that flank the Adige River. A land of (no) borders, two words rich in fascination and references, cultural confluences and interwoven lives.
The grapes are hand-picked and de-stemmed before undergoing a soft crush. 80% of the alcoholic fermentation takes place in conditioned stainless steel containers, the remaining 20% in French oak tonneaux. The part in tonneaux also carries out malolactic fermentation. The wine is then aged 10 months, finishing in thermally conditioned stainless steel containers and then 4 months in bottle.
