"L'Extravertie" is 100% Chardonnay from Grand Cru vineyards in the Côte des Blancs. Brothers Antoine and Clement follow organic and evironmentally-friendly farming techniques (including aromatherapy and some biodynamic principles). Aged on the lees for 10 months in stainless steel vat and oak barrel followed by 3-4 years sur latte. 3 to 5g / litre (EXTRA-BRUT) and unfined and unfiltered.
In the heart of Cramant, Pertois-Lebrun is a family-owned estate run by brothers Clément and Antoine. Their 9.5-hectare vineyard is spread across the five Grand Cru villages of Cramant, Le Mesnil-Sur-Oger, Chouilly, Oger, and Oiry.
They approach work on the vines with respect and humility, and always with the greatest care. Their ambition is to express all the finesse and elegance of chardonnay, as well as revealing the variety and individuality of their 44 plots, representing a real mosaic of terroirs, each with their own separate identity. To achieve this they use eco-responsible wine growing techniques, giving priority to the life of the plant and the microbiological composition of the soils, whilst voluntarily reducing the vigour and yields of the vines.
