TASTING NOTES
Classic skin contact/orange wine with black tea notes, pithy Meyer Lemon skins and rounded out by apricots and mandarins. Clean, delicious and generous - this is a great mid-point option in the orange spectrum that is really crowd pleasing.

Fermented in concrete eggs and aged in the same vessel. The fermentation lasts about two weeks and the extraction is only from the skins moving naturally through the egg. The wine is then left to age for 2 years on its lees.
Elegance again from Samo Premrn who is an accomplished winemaker on the north-facing slopes in the eastern, narrow end of the Vipava Valley in western Slovenia.
Slovenia's Vipava Valley - just across from the border with Italy - is so affected by the strong, 200km/h Burja winds the grapes develop particularly thick skins to withstand the pressure, resulting in fleshier, gripper styles.
