TASTING NOTES
Effusive fruit notes of meyer lemons and crisp pear, white pepper and sea salt. The palate is full of lemon curd, apricots and salinity, and there’s great tension and dynamics between the rich, round immediacy of the wine and the crisp, minerally drive that propels it throughout.

Adam Tolmach started his Ojai Vineyard in 1983 with the ambition of producing distinctive California wines using traditional winemaking practices he’d picked up in Burgundy and the Rhone. Twenty-seven years later, he still pursues this goal at his artisanal winery in Ojai, California, buying grapes from the finest terroirs in the coolest districts of northern Santa Barbara County. The wines he makes today are about his quest to bring together European sensibilities of balance and finesse and the exuberant fruit from coastal California vineyards - and all contained within a subtle frame of French oak (just 11% new barrels).
