TASTING NOTES
Fresh ginger and fenugreek spice with some white and yellow fruit. On the palate this wine has a lot of lovely waxy texture from the Semillon along with quince and nectarine fruit, fresh acidity and it ends with a gorgeous savoury spice. Perfect with aromatic curries.

Whole bunch pressed and transferred to a stainless steel tank. The press and free run juice are blended together and after pressing the juice is allowed to settle out naturally overnight.
Racked to big old french oak barrels and fermented naturally with ambient yeasts and no additions. Stirred on the gross lees for 9 months without sulphur until a small addition was added with a gentle filtration at bottling.
Winemaker Alexandra McFarlane worked at some prestigious brands overseas (such as Henschke in the Barossa Valley, Australia), returning to Stellenbosch in 2014 to work for Johan Jordaan at Spier.
