Domaine Le Fagolet is an 18-hectare wine-growing estate located in the commune of Vaux en Beaujolais (Clochemerle), which has been passed down from generation to generation since 1850. Paul Girard is the current winemaker, harvesting since 1980.
Fruit is harvested by hand while respecting the environment. The grapes are sorted in the vineyard before being transported to the vat room. Thanks to the construction of a new vat room fully equipped for vinification (in 1986), Domaine Le Fagolet has grown considerably.
The plots are mostly planted on hillsides with 30% gradients divided between Gamay (98%) and Chardonnay (2%).
