TASTING NOTES

Intense dark ruby colour and complex aromas of wild cherry and red fruits compote, tilled earth & slight toasty notes. The rich fruit is nicely counterbalanced with freshness and a long baking spiced-finish.

From  mainly east-facing vines of more than 50 years of age in poor, granitic soils across the terroirs  of Corcelette, Bellevue & Douby.

Low yields (25 hl/ha), partial destemming and semi-carbonic maceration at low temperature. 18 months in old oak barrels and demi-muids.
