TASTING NOTES

A medium body wine with a freshness of flavour from SE coast of Spain. Spicy pepper notes accompanied by fresh black and red fruits. Savoury on the palate also with some fresh florals. All mirrored on the nose, a great red!

Located in the mountains of Jumilla, in the east of the province of Murcia, Casa Castillo estate sits at 760 meters above sea level on Sandy soils. Monastrell is the predominant variety in this region. The grapes are grown on the valley floor. 

Fermented with indigenous yeasts in temperature controlled stainless steel. Aged for 8 to 9 months in neutral oak barrels and/or concrete tanks. Bottled unfined and unfiltered.
