TASTING NOTES
Sara d'Amato, Wine Align (92 points): "This stylish, modern garnacha is notably polished with a pleasant crunch to the palate. Sourced from old vines in Campo de Borja of northeastern Spain. Lightly peppery with hints of botanical along with plum and fleshy cherry. Silky tannins give the wine immediate accessibility but the depth of flavour should allow for some mid-term aging potential. Excellent length."

Fernando Mora, Master of Wine works with a couple of long-standing grape-growing families in Aragon to craft deft, incredibly complex wines. Originally based in Calatayud, he has branched out into neighbouring Campo de Borja to add to his Calatayud-based cru-level wines. Both sites have some of the highest and oldest vineyards in Aragon. Bush vines, sparsely planted on Precambrian soils of slate and impossible slopes more than 800 metres high.
