Santa Teresa de Cabora also known as the “Mexican Joan of Arc'', was a healer and figure who traveled through Northern Mexico and the US around the end of the 1800s. She was exiled from Mexico as a political insurrectionist, but was seen as a Saint by the people who followed her, as she advocated for the Indigenous and poor. Her story acts as a metaphor and guide to restoring our crucial relationship with the land.
